Coach

I help people find a path from where they are now to where they want to be.

I bring clear insights, honest and wise counsel, uncritical questioning and positive empathetic energy.

I help people detect and give space to reflect on their own views and figure out the best way forward for them. I keep the sessions focused, real and cathartic.

I work in partnership, on a regular basis and achieved in a mutually agreed timeframe (some short, some long). I predominantly work in person in a 3rd space (up for a ‘walk and talk’ too) but happy to offer sessions virtually if this works best for clients. I also offer phone check-ins for those who find the extra support helpful.

I don’t represent a specific style of coaching. You buy into me, my broad professional lived experience and my unique style, all within a strong context of psychological safety. This is supported by my own dedicated learning in change management, organisational and differential psychology, philosophy, CBT and mental health.

My approach is usually in 3 overlapping phases:

  • Create space to do deep work. Think more. Do less.

  • Overcome fear of change and embrace it

  • Determine who they truly are and not what they’re trying to be

  • Find out what motivates them and what gets in the way

  • Develop workplace boundaries and coping strategies

  • Manage complexity and prioritisation

  • Build on their reputational value and create soulful stakeholder relationships

  • Develop leadership and/or management styles

  • Develop authentic confidence 

  • Prepare for presentations/key meetings/interviews/additional responsibilities

  • Undergo a career change or start a new business

  • Navigate challenging conversations courageously

  • Successfully return to work post paternal leave/sabbatical/illness
